In much of 2025, the south end will not be easily accessible with the closure of the road from a bridge near Leslie before the Wilket Trailhead on the road to Sunnybrook. The entire trail and bridges from Edwards Gardens hasve been rebuilt along with the re-routing of the creek to minimize erosion. It follows the path of Wilket Creek. The raised trail parts, designed by Schollen, are spectacular in their protecting both the trail and the wetland. The ravine is one of the places in Toronto that still has white pines, which are subject to degradation by pollution elsewhere. There is a west branching trail midway over a new bridge to Sunnybrook Park's wooded trails. The trail continues into Edwards Gardens and to Lawrence Avenue. Bicycles usually have a problem dealing with the volume of pedestrians. I suggest that cyclists should leave the path on one of the ways out on the east side and cross Leslie Street to an entrance (at Overland or Lawrence) to the nearby Don Mills Trail that parallels Wilket Creek. The south end of that trail has an informal exit to Leslie (the sign at Overland says it is a dead end but it's not in reality). The...

I went for walking in Edwards Gardens where I got to know this trail. I saw people going and coming back. That made me decide to walk in the trail too. It was interesting because I saw a bird not so typical in my eyes. First thing that caught my eyes was the tree in different shape. I thought, it was intentionally designed. Later on, i saw the bird with long beak. Herons? I thought, I will not see the bird again after it flew away. Along the trail, I saw it catching a fish from far.

Most probably, I'll come back again with friends to visit the trail.

This is a beautiful little park adjacent to Edwards Gardens and Toronto Botanical Garden. It is very easy to get to in terms of parking and direction. The main trail is paved and there are lots of unpaved branches into the trees if you wish to explore. The only downside is there are lots of cyclists so if you are walking with a stroller or baby you have to...

Good trail to go on a nice pleasant walk. Gets crowded during the weekends. Maybe best to go during weekdays at evening time before the sun sets. If you love being basked in nature this is the right stop. U can really sit on the benches and think about your life decisions.
