Nestled within beautiful gardens that remain stunning year-round, Bloom CafĂ© is a charming spot with a lot of untapped potential. Iâm not entirely sure if the cafĂ© operates seasonally, perhaps only during the warmer months, but its location offers a unique opportunity to embrace the changing seasons more fully.
My son loves it here for the treats like ice cream and the relaxed outdoor patio, complete with stone tables, gentle sounds of nearby fountains, and lovely garden views in every direction. Itâs a peaceful and pleasant setting.
However, a few thoughtful updates could really elevate the experience. A fresh coat of paint and some fresh flowers indoors would brighten up the space. While the current menu is simple and appropriate, it could be expanded to reflect its surroundings. Think iced floral teas like orange blossom or rose black tea in the summer, and warm soups with a cozy fireplace in the winter.
There seems to be some indoor seating, and enhancing this space with floral wallpaper or hand-painted botanical art would tie it beautifully to the garden theme. The cafĂ© doesnât need to be fancy. Just more intentional in design and offerings. Given its partial location along the Bridle Path and the steady foot traffic through the gardens, it has great potential to become a serene,...
Read moreBeautiful location, but the cafĂ© was a letdown. I visited after reading great reviews and was looking forward to working from here, but unfortunately, thereâs no WiFi. Thatâs pretty surprising for a cafĂ© in 2025.
I ordered a decaf with oat milk after seeing all the praise about their coffee, but it was just okay, nothing special. The biggest frustration was the sudden early closing. I had specifically chosen this spot for logistical reasons (which I wonât get into here), and I was told they might close around 3 or 4. Then, out of nowhere, I was told theyâd be closing in 8 minutes. This was on a sunny Thursday evening, and their hours on Google said something else.
On my way out, I bought two vegan cookies and was offered a third one for free. Maybe it was a friendly gesture since I communicated to them that I was disappointed. They mentioned that they recently took over that place so hopefully they will get things in order soon!
Overall, while the setting at Edward Gardens is beautiful, my experience as of today wasnât great. No WiFi, inconsistent hours, and just...
Read moreLooks a lot nicer online than in person. It appears to be a cute local cafe but it's more accurate to discribe as a run down snack bar. There's no accessable seating which is a major red flag for me. The food is okay in a pinch but I would recommend to avoid the spinach pastry as my grandmother got quite sick after just eating half. Drinks were rather pricy for what they were, almost five dollars for an iced mocha which I would expect if they were a high end coffee shop but this wasn't and it was also just ok. This place has lots of potential and I really hope they can revamp it with some better more fresh food opens, a small renovation to make it look nicer and some more reasonable...
