The Kentville Ravine — Attraction in Town of Kentville

If you park at the top - up behind the Research Station the trail head is just off of the parking lot. The trail immediately descends to the ravine, this will be the most difficult part of your hike. A great place for a quiet walk in the woods. I was surprised to find this lovely park for a walk. When we went the trails were VERY icy and the first section is steep, so ice cleats were essential. Once you reach the bottom of the ravine the walking is good. The trail follows and crosses a little stream in an area of lovely tall mature trees. It is a one-way trail so you walk in and then back out. It is a wonderful place for a walk, and I look forward to coming back in the summer to see hat it...
