We went to Sushi Fang tonight as there is only 1 other Asian cuisine within a reasonable driving distance and we read reviews thinking this was the right choice. We were greeted at the door by about 20 other confused looking customers bunched into the tightest space ever; some paying their bills some waiting on take away, and the others waiting for a table. After squeezing in we waited for a bit (10 minutes) and an employee came and asked who was waiting for a table, took our names and said "we don't know a wait time" and just walked away... okay well they are busy we will wait it out for a table. After about 40 minutes of waiting we are finally seated. This is one of my personal pet peeves the table was soaking wet from just being wiped down and smelled of cleaning product very strongly- mmm appetizing, right? This is annoying but not a deal breaker. Well, our waiter lays the menus down on the table and walks away... 20 minutes pass and the restaurant is now quiet and many tables leaving/had left already, we have yet to be acknowledge again and the waiter is just bussing tables all around us. I at this point am ready to leave but my partner convinces me to wait longer. We waited another 15 minutes and not even a glance from waiter nor waitresses (there were 5 employees waiting and 2 sushi chefs and at least 1 more employee in the back that we knew of). Although, they managed to take orders from 3 other tables that seated after we did (about 10-15 minutes after we did). I am not one to cause a fuss and yell across a restaurant for a waiter/waitress to come take our order (although I did see another table doing this while we waited to be seated).. I feel it was obvious enough that we had set out menus down and was looking straight at them. Finally (an hour and 25 minutes after arriving) I couldn't sit and wait any more my patience completely ran out and we walked out. We never got to try the food, or even the water/soda/cocktails. What a waste of time! Tip for the restaurant owner/manager, just offering a beverage to customers can change everything. If we were at least given something to sip on as we waited we may have lasted another 20 minutes. Also, train your employees to staggering seating vs. bussing vs. taking orders! I feel sorry for the kitchen staff as they get all the orders at one time due to the un-organized nature of...

It's not about the money but the integrity of the establishment and those who own it.
Chop sticks, tea mugs, and tea pot had food particles steamed to them. Ordered two Bento Boxes with an two extra rolls and a pot of tea. The Male waiter brought our soups and salads. Before leaving mentioned our bento boxes would be out shortly. Received a meal that was similar, but not what we ordered. The initial thought was the possibility that they were substituting some of the items that are normally in bento boxes. A young lady came to check on us and we mentioned that there were a few items that seemed to not be what we ordered. She returned and said the man already put it in the computer, said that it was an error, and apologized. Upon paying, the young woman gave the total, which seemed like a lot more than expected and she explained that was what given to us was much higher priced items, so I asked the young lady to please put the what we ordered , and I would happily pay that, as it was the server error. She said certainly, I will be right back. The young man who originally took our order came out, asked what I needed, so I explained the situation. The young man stammered a bit and lied that he did not remember what we had ordered, despite telling us our bento boxes that we had ordered would be out shortly, and charged us for the more expensive items. He also tried to deceive us by “not knowing” how to print a detailed item receipt and said the best I can give you 10%. Not wanting to hold up guests ordering, we...
Read moreHonestly it's kinda hit or miss, probably depends on the chef. More times than not it hits. In person is beautiful in my opinion. I love the lights, decor, and dishes they put the food on. Only thing is a couple times ordering the delivery the sushi was very chewy. One time it was to the point where it was like gum. Like it actually could not be chewed. I left a review on doordash about it and the store replied kinda passive aggressive how their seaweed was high quality or whatever. Maybe they thought we were lying for a refund or something, idk, but I think we hit a nerve that night lol. I had a video of us trying to pull it, we failed, but i dont know if it was posted with the review. It was towards the end of the night so I assume we just got old sushi. Not a huge deal, but it shouldn't happen. Kinda gross too.
I feel like this place would do so much better if it was ran a little better, but maybe they can't find workers. I feel like the managers might be too lenient which leads to workers not reaching their full potential, but that's just an outside take. Hopefully they take reviews as feedback and not get so defensive. For the doordash review, I promise you guys, no one can chew through the seaweed gum incident lol
Edit- Dip their sushi in the bbq eel sauce. Just do it. It is so good. They forget it most of the time for delivery, but if you're in person I promise you,...
