Greco Pizza — Restaurant in New Minas

New Minas store is dreadful.

At around 5pm Friday, I went into the store with my 4 year old son, he wanted a slice of pepperoni pizza. After a lengthy wait as the one person ahead of me was served, it was my turn and I attempted to order the slice. I was very rudely told, by an older lady serving on the cash, that there was only donair pizza on offer. When I enquired how long it would be until the pepperoni pizza was out, she said "We are far too busy to make them".

You can imagine my shock at being told Greco's was too busy on a Friday suppertime to make pizza. To add to it, she then told me if I wanted pepperoni, I should go to Jessie's pizza further up the street. I told her we were walking and it was too far for my little guy, she just shrugged her shoulders and called for the next customer.

I have never received such poor service and certainly never been told to go to the competition. I will never go to your New Minas store again, and the large line in Subway across the street who heard all about it were disgusted too.

Very sorry about the experience you had (derecet to the first commenter) we have new staff sense then and im quiet certin that person is no longer with us unforently staff members like some like ppl handle things wrong some times it should of been better exsplained see are slice pizza are 18inch they take up a lot of space in our oven if we are in the middle of super rush ie past 430 and we run out we dont make any more because of the time it would up other orders plus take us away from another order also we find we make a slice pizza late in the day we find we dont sell them some times hence more waste and if its bussy you could wait longer for slice then a single pizza I being a staff member at this location would of offered you a 6" pizza its around the same amount and kids love them because of their size :) so sorry again hope you give us...

I don't normally write reviews, either pro or con, but tonight's experience left me no choice. I am not a regular Greco customer, although years ago I was, but decided to give them a try tonight. I understand that restaurants get busy and I'm glad they are, however, when I ordered my pizza for delivery I was told 45 minutes; my pizza arrived after an hour and a half and was lukewarm at best. My medium works pizza and a 2 litre pop was $35.00 before tip, was cut into 8 pieces, of which I could barely stomach 3. I have worked in the pizza trade, and am a pizza lover...this was the absolute worst pizza I have ever attempted to consume. Sorry Greco but that's my last try for your product. I'll be interested to see if even the raccoons will eat the remaining 5...
