I walked in yesterday Sep 6/23, it was around 7:20 pm. I was surprised to see another (new) server. She was busy on the phone and then in front of us there was a couple waiting to pay. We waited to be seated because that is what it says on the signs, which is fine I don’t mind waiting. After like 6 mins standing the server came to us and asked if we were going to pickup an order or order take out and I said that we are looking to dine in. The server instantly said “well… we are going to close at 8 so normally we don’t do dine in now, but it depends if you guys are looking to seat and chat or just eat and go” after what she said I saw her intentions that she didn’t want us to stay and after that definitely I was not going to stay! We had stuff to do, so we were going to eat and go but she didn’t know that, and didn’t have to know that. She was rude and her attitude was dismissive. After the server saw us talking in another language she was trying to fix the situation trying to make us stay, we left (7:28pm) I have been here multiple time and I love the food, the owners are so nice and hard workers. This place reminded me of home, since my parents have a restaurant as well. So I know for a fact that it was the servers who was lazy to serve another table because I’m so sure if the owners had been there they would have let us dine in without...

Was looking forward to an alternative to my usual fast food go-to on my day off. Ordered the Tom Yum Soup, Spicy Stir Fry, and Steamed Rice. $33.00 tax in at pick up.
Soup: Although the portion size blew me away when I removed the container from the bag, the moment I opened it I realized that it was at least 90% broth. Overcooked sliced carrots, bamboo shoots, and a few quartered mushrooms bobbed sadly on top, while some translucent, mushy, and unidentifiable vegetables, that I'm guessing were onions, were dredged up upon stirring. I paid extra for prawns, which indeed were included, but they still had their tail shells on, so I had pluck them out of the soup and remove them to eat. Seriously?!
The flavour of the soup broth was wonderful, however. Spicy, deep, and warming. I used it as a dip for my steamed rice.
The spicy stir fry had loads of chicken. The included mixed sweet peppers, both red and green, were prepared al dente to perfection. It also had sauteed green beans and onions that were done as equally well. Unfortunately, it also had, what I'm guessing, was large slices of oyster mushrooms that were utterly disgusting, and spoiled the entire experience.
The steamed rice was the best part of the meal. Take that...

Atmosphere ruined by serving staff. Complained to all seated about her night, complained she would be cleaning an hour after close (so what!) you’re lucky to have a job. No tip. Had bf or older son hanging out cleaning tables for her and smoke breaks. Turned down two different parties at 7:20 when closing at 8. This was very upsetting to see. “Eat in or Take out? I’d rather not do anymore dine in because I’ve been very busy, if you can’t already tell”. My advice for anyone who may visit this restaurant while this lady is working, don’t take that. When she says dine in or take out then complains, remind her she’s being paid to be there, and sit. The food is decent, I asked for water refill. Restaurants can hardly keep their doors open since our lockdown; this place turns locals away.
Word of advice maybe take your phone off the hook if you can’t handle it. Thai express is soon coming to town, I’m sure if the option is takeout only for this woman, the town will go...
