Opened in 2025, this modern interpretive centre replaces the former cottage and offers an engaging introduction to the history of the Amphitrite Point Lighthouse. Inside, you’ll find informative displays on the lighthouse’s past, along with a marine exhibit showcasing the diverse sea life found in the surrounding waters.
The space is large, bright, and spotless, with a small selection of items for sale. Conveniently located near the Wild Pacific Trail, it also has toilets both inside and nearby. The welcoming volunteers are a real highlight—enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and eager to share stories and facts about the area and its marine environment.
