First thing I would note is this lake is fully landlocked with no outlet to other lakes, and is fairly small compared to the other lakes in the vicinity. A 5-minute canoe will take you across the entire lake. Campsite privacy is okay. We stayed at campsite number 90 which is right near the vaulted toilets, so that's actually quite handy. The beaches from the better beaches I've seen in Algonquin. I would say this campground is more kid friendly, there are hydro-enabled campsites available, and some of the yurts look brand new and amazing (2022)! Read moreHad a great time camping in one of their yurts! Mostly private camp sites. Nearby vault toilets were clean. Beach was nice. Chipmunks, red squirrels, blue jays and bunnies were abundant and friendly (bring unsalted peanuts 😉). Site #138 is extremely close to a campground water tap.... be open to saying hello 👋 often to people almost stumbling onto your site if you stay at this one.
