Cool place to visit! But the Museum is even cooler for me, my Dad restored three bikes here. The Harley Sport, BSA and the Blue Triumph that was right at the entrance when i visited. I vividly remember him building them all in our garage, especially the blue Triumph. I was 14 years old when our next-door neighbors' teens threw a house party, and my Dad wasn’t too happy to be woken up at 4 AM by a kid peeing on our lawn. He looked at me and said, “Be awake for 7 AM.”
Sure enough, at 7 AM, I was on the street with my Dad, helping push-start him on the Triumph (which had no pipes yet) as he popped the clutch right in front of the neighbors’ house. All the neighbors, except the ones next door, came out applauding. It was one of those unforgettable father-son moments.
