Save your money and go else where. I try my best to support local businesses, but I take my business else where when I receive bad service. overprice and automatically argues with the customer before listening to what was wrong.
Coworkers and I frequented this cafe because of the proximity to our office. We went to purchase the soup of the day. It was the last bowl of soup and the girl at the register informed us there was only a small available. The lady at the back said they had enough for a large. What they really meant is they could add hot water to stretch the soup and only fill a large bowl half way and call it a large. We watched as she added hot water and packaged it up to go. We didn't say anything at first as we were on a short lunch break, but it was immediately clear that the soup was extremely watered down and bland. Taste and consistency was nothing like the soup she had ordered in a past.
We went back to try to get the soup exchange for something else, but they immediately got defensive and started yelling at us. Telling us thats what the soup is like and that we were wrong. They took spoons and tasted the soup, returned it us and refused to do anything else. They expected my coworker to eat it after that. The older lady asked the cashier to try the soup for herself. You could see the disappointment on the girls face when she knew we spoke our case, and there was indeed something was wrong with the soup. At that point, we just wanted our money back.
Sorry, but you just lost the business of everyone in our office. We'll walk the extra 2...
Read moreMy friend and I had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience at Elements Café. We ordered two iced chai tea lattes—nowhere in our order did we ask for oat milk. When we received the drinks, we noticed they had been made with oat milk and politely asked for clarification.
Instead of helping us or correcting the mistake, the staff became aggressive and defensive. We were told things like "Why would we waste another drink on you?" and that we’d have to pay again if we wanted our drinks remade. It was incredibly unprofessional and uncomfortable. We were effectively gaslighted into thinking we had ordered oat milk, which we absolutely had not, and were charged extra for something we didn’t request.
We left feeling scammed and disrespected. It’s one thing to make a mistake—it’s another to double down, yell at customers, and refuse to take responsibility. This was an unacceptable way to treat anyone, and we hope management takes this feedback seriously. No one should be treated like this over a...
Read moreI have about 700+ dollars spent on elements cafe since the last two months. 718 to be exact, just checked my banking app.
Today morning, they fed me a breakfast wrap with disgusting rotten chicken.
I went back, didn't even get to say two words.
The lady looked at my wrap, smelled it and literally told me "It is your opinion, so you will not get a refund".
I was not even asking for a refund. I then asked for a different sandwich, and she proclaimed I have to buy it.
Nevertheless, I will not be returning to Elements cafe, nor will I be suggesting it to fellow employees.
A real disappointment.
UPDATE: After I posted this review, an elements cafe worker RUSHED to the uber that was waiting outside my office with the $7 in change and handed it to me through the car window. No sorrys, it was akin to a f**k you for posting...
