A cute fair, with a decent amount to do. Well priced but considering everything inside costs money, could also be free. There was an area to pick and paint a pumpkin, some food trucks, pony rides, kids area, small petting farm, some rides, live music, plenty of vendors, and some carnival games.

Loss of 2 stars is based on the “volunteers”. This year the volunteers at the pumpkin area on the Sunday were quite young and had no professionalism whatsoever. They were over heard saying things like “come buy pumpkins people, I just want the money” “Only $2 give me your money” and the moment you’d pay for a pumpkin they’d move on from you and try to “get their money” from other people. Perhaps all the cash was being pocketed, because that’s how it sounded. A strange experience.

At the rope-making station, we arrived as they were ending and gave a piece of rope to 2 young girls. We stood in front of the display for 2-3 minutes and not once did that explain anything to us or show us the rope making or hand OUR daughter a piece of rope. At first we thought they were just waiting a minute before another demonstration but it was so awkward standing there. They eventually said “just making rope”, but didn’t actually explain or show us. Our daughter is much younger but is still just as interested.

At the front, we paid our admission and we’re handed small tickets. I asked what they were for (similar to tickets for a draw). The volunteers who I just paid said “we aren’t sure, we think a Turkey draw, or your admission.” We quite literally took 2 steps and another volunteer asked for the ticket and gave nothing back - so not only was it admission for the gate immediately next to the volunteers I paid, but it seemed like a complete waste. Why wasn’t the ticket booth just the entrance? There’s no point in me holding a ticket to walk 2 feet. Finally, the ladies who took my ticket handed me a map with other information on it, but never explained that there was a sort of draw if we looked for animal signs throughout. We only found out on our way out the door and then it...

Skip the Woodbridge Fair until they fix things.

One star rating: Lack of value for the event High cost of the food & rides Dishonest practices (midway) Long lines + 30% operating capacity for rides (some broken)

Consider your choices. Better rides and activities can be found at the CNE, Canada's Wonderland, Markham Fair or Ford festivals. All-inclusive prices are clearly posted and consistently applied.

Despite being more than 150 years in operation, the Woodbridge Fair provides a low value proposition. Costs are way above average. $30.00 fees for 2 adults + 2 kids only includes the entrance. All other activities cost extra. Compared to other venues of similar format this is a very expensive proposition for such a small event. The fee is effectively pre-paying for parking. There is good capacity but this is pure profit. Sadly the lot fills up & you may need to park a distance away.

Concession stands (food trucks & farmers market tables) are significantly over priced. $10 Hotdog, $7 Soft Serve Ice Cream, $20 Funnel Cake, $17 Pumpkin pies - 3x-5x normal retail prices.

Midway (3rd party vendor) is a complete disappointment. 1hr+ line ups with broken rides evident. Some semi-functioning - operating @30% capacity. Maintenance & cleaning required.

Misleading and unconscionable representations on ticket prices evident. One staff advised 2 tickets per ride. After lining up for 1hr+ he raised the price to 3 tickets per ride.

Save time, money & consider alternative venues with better options, cheaper food that provide consistent & honest practices in a cleaner...

Was here yesterday for the Fun Food Festival with my nephew and family. I am giving the rating of two stars to the festival because it was so terribly done and managed. Can not believe it. The entrance fee was not worth it at all. $15 bucks for adults and $10 for kids plus parking was $5. Parking I understand, but the entrance is way to high (never had to pay that high of a price at all, for any event like this one), all the venders are suffering from not getting as much sales as they should. Because people have to spend a lot of money to get in, than in return not spending money at the vendors/stalls like it should of be. This whole event needs better management and event staff running the show. The kids working at the front have literally no idea about anything if you ask them a question, and security is unsure if you can leave and come back in(should of gave a stamp or rip the ticket in half next time so you can have proof of purchase). The performances where sub par and some shorter than it should of been. I will not be visiting said Fun Food Fest ever again. This was my first one...

Filthy and fun. Washrooms seemed clean; though we were there early in the day. By the time we left there was a line of about 30 cars waiting on the road just to turn into the parking lot. Other things: - Don’t wear high heels - Great place for kids to meet goats, sheep, ride a pony (things you can’t really enjoy within the municipality of Toronto anymore). - there was a dog show - live bands playing crowd pleaser covers - “rides” seem a bit sketchy, but good enough. - some neat exhibits with antique things - kids looked like they had a good time. - parking is free - food was expensive, but this is expected for a fair of this type ($6 for a hot dog that tastes like water, $9 for a cheeseburger). - bring your own drinks - bring hand sanitizer. Would go again.
