The Cypress Eagle Coaster is hands down one of the most fun and unique outdoor experiences in BC! If you’re looking for adventure, speed, and stunning mountain scenery, this ride delivers it all in one go. The coaster winds through the trees with just the right mix of twists, turns, and downhill speed — and the best part is, you control the brakes, so it’s perfect for both adrenaline junkies and first-timers. The views from the top are absolutely incredible — you can see the mountains, forest, and on a clear day, even the city and ocean. Everything is very well-organized — from the friendly staff to the safety instructions and the smooth ticketing process. The ride itself is safe, exciting, and unforgettable. Perfect for families, couples, or a fun day out with friends.

SUPER FUN! When we tried booking tickets, they were sold out until Aug 6, but we went up the mountain anyways which by the way is an amazing drive. When we got there, the lady turned us away and we asked if there was a waiting list but of course not, and by the grace of Allah, I go on the website and there are two available tickets! So my suggestion is they should have a couple tickets on standby in case there are walk-ins like us. So once we got the tickets, we went up the lift which is about 5 minute ride, and the ride was so neat, easy to use the controls to brake and accelerate, and the view was spectacular. The ride can go as fast as 40km which will take 3 minutes unless you go slower.

One star because of your super poor Eagle Coaster setup guys! You emailed me too, to give you feedback, because it says you "genuinely care"........do you really? I don't think so. All you are concerned about is getting people to fill your Eagle Coaster seats, even if it is little kids. Hence, this discussion. I've been going to the Eagle Coaster since it started but yet, year after year after year........it's the same stuff guys. You tell the people about to ride to not stop on the track and to not go slow.........yet you allow parents to bring their tiny kids who always go soooooooooooooooooooooooo sloooooooooooooooooooooow. I picked up a new friend yesterday from White Rock........Sat.July 27th.......for her birthday to try out the Eagle Coaster. She wasn't too impressed with the waiting, again, due to parents bringing their tiny kids who want to go super slow. Check with your staff yesterday guys........one East Indian guy with his kid took 10 minutes to go down.......I was standing in the line when this happened and do you know how many people in line were upset for waiting that long? LOTS. I actually did 2 rides........and my other ride, I was told again to go fast and to not stop........but guess what? I caught up to a mom and her kid who were going super sloooooooooooow! And when I got to the bottom, the person behind me complained to me that I was going super slooooooooooooow..........yet it wasn't me........it was the mom/kid in front of me. Do you guys even get how any of this is a joke? You wanting feedback from me too, via email, but yet you do absolutely nothing with this feedback. Yup, got it.......you paid alot of money to build this Eagle Coaster so you need to make this $$$ back. But guys, don't just make it back by filling your Eagle Coaster rides with parents bringing their little kids, especially when you advertise on your own website that you go upto speeds of 40km/hour.......yeah, until you have to stop and go super slow due to a parent bringing their 3 year old kid. One year, I was actually going so fast, that when I turned the bend, the parent and their kid were right there and I almost rammed right into them..........or i guess you guys will take this all serious once there is a serious accident on your Eagle Coaster track, when 2 cars collide and then someone gets seriously injured. Hence, another reason this is being put onto Google reviews.........so once this accident does happen, this will be on record as showing that you guys knew about all of this years ago and did nothing to prevent it.........so then the safety guys can pull your licence immediately for running this ride. And don't apologize back to this message to say you are sorry........because you know you aren't sorry........actually do something about...

I would like to share a very unfortunate experience I had with my Mom and my Son today. We were on the 12:30 booking for the Eagle Coaster Ride. My name is Holly Schultz and my Moms name is Nova Staples, she was the last in the 3 of us to ride down. I want to say first of all the fellow who was at the top of the ride before we began shared you don't have to follow the signs to brake when posted just go on down it's safe to do so. My mother and I did not follow those instructions and did follow the braking posts on each sharp turn. I went down no problem at all at a safe pace following the signs. My mom is what my concern was, her experience was aweful and she got off the ride in tears I was horrified and she will not return. She is a senior and just like a child at the age of 8 they will choose a safe pace to enjoy that experience safely. However, there was this boy behind her that chose to run right up behind her and bumped her aggressively the whole way down. He even build up speed to torment her and when arriving at the stop he has the audacity to say she was going to slow. I was appalled when she stopped and was so distraught. This kid ruined her one experience. I wanna say it was my Birthday and Im sad this happened. The staff were very sympathetic but offered no compensation at all. The reason for this much needed review was I don't think she should have paid for this ride is my first thing and secondly I HUGELY suggest no one goes down til one ahead gets to the bottom. I hope no one ever...

The Eagle Coaster is a ton of fun, but that fun is completely ruined by insane wait times and some probably unavoidable variation in the riders themselves.

The big issue is the lines. We had a 3:00 ticket, and we weren't on the ride until 4:45. Just standing and waiting at the top of the mountain in the cold with a squirmy kid. We had booked a double ride, but we just left after the first one - no way were we waiting another almost-two-hours!

These lines are completely avoidable. They were selling up to 70 tickets per hour according the website, and they were putting a car down the track on average every 2-3 minutes during the 90 minutes we were waiting. This is very, very simple math and I'm not quite sure why they think they can sell 2x the ride's capacity.

The other issue we encountered is a little harder for Cypress to control for. The cars weren't actually going down equally spaced - they were getting bunched up. We ended up going down not too long after a woman who rode the brakes the entire way. The result was the last half of the ride, we and three other cars were all just sort of cruising along at 10km/h because this woman wasn't going any faster, and I think she significantly diminished the thrill for a bunch of people. It's selfish, but harder for Cypress to control - unless, again, they sell fewer tickets to more closely match actual capacity.

So fun ride. But the growing pains are not worth it right now. Hopefully they'll get this...
