I REALLY wish this restaurant would post their hours, or at least have a phone number that actually allowed you to connect with the restaurant or AT A BARE MINIMUM have a recorded message letting you know if they were open or not.

The Crazy Raven is in theory a nice way to finish off a Spring or Summer Alpine hike, sitting on the patio or inside with a cold beverage of your choice. And when they have the BBQ up and running, it makes for a great afternoon.

But this establishment really STRUGGLES to communicate with their customers. Go to their website, Facebook, or Google+ page and at the time of writing this review, you can't get ANY info on when they are open. Yes, I understand that your business is weather dependent, but PLEASE communicate with your customers... Even the phone number listed on the Google+ page for the restaurant doesn't give you ANY information about the restaurant... It just goes to a general recorded message.

Maintaining consistent hours and communicating with your customers when you are open and closed is critical for the success in any business. The Crazy Raven could be a very successful summer establishment, but if you never know if the place is open or not... you make it hard for a customer to...

Our visit to the Crazy Raven started off well, with Tobias introducing himself and taking our drink and food orders. Unfortunately, things quickly went downhill from there.

When our food arrived, the order was wrong. We had asked for chicken strips with yam fries, but instead, we got regular fries and an extra portion of waffle fries we hadn’t ordered. We told the food runner, but there was no sign of Tobias. As we ate, no one came by to check in, refill drinks, or address the mistake. After waiting too long for any service, I had to walk over to a server and ask for Tobias, only to be told he had left on a shuttle bus and that we now had a new server. I explained the food issue and that we still wanted yam fries, but by then, the meal was almost over.

We sat with empty drinks and dishes for 20 minutes before deciding to leave. Our girlfriends stayed to settle the bill, only to find that it was incorrect. Staff blamed a printer glitch but then had the nerve to ask if we wanted to tip Tobias. The Crazy Raven seriously dropped the ball...

Guys you gotta do better. 2 years ago, everything on the menu was passable, sometimes even good. Since then, it's clear there's some cost saving going on - what used to be a decent chicken burger patty is now a frozen, cafeteria patty that you're charging 20 something bucks for. You've got a responsibility to represent the city well - this is a tourist Hotspot for hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. What's been coming out of your kitchen for the past year has consistently been dissapointing. It's legitimately mediocre cafeteria food, being priced like premium restaurant food. You guys have a beautiful setting, some great servers, but please start investing again in actually good food.

Btw, this is coming from a former season's pass holder, I've been to the bar 30+ times. It's sad to see the decline, please find a way to return to your old form, this just isn't...

Food quality is pretty terrible and overpriced, but there aren’t really many options up here when you want a break from snowboarding or skiing. Service is really good and the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, just wouldn’t recommend the actual food. Wings were boney and dry while the sweet potatoes fries weren’t heated enough. They were soggy, the frozen sweet potatoes fries that I throw into the air fryer at home are better, so that’s really saying something. Drinks are decent at least.

Total surprise, I am used to overpriced and underwhelming food in ski areas but it was great. Service was excellent especially considering how bust it was. I wish I remembered our servers name she was fantastic. (Petite young Asian Girl with greenish eyes) The food was really nice and exactly what we needed to fill ourselves up for a good afternoon ski. The atmosphere is fun and busy.

The food was great and so was the service! We had a group of 4 people and went there late afternoon around 3:30pm. We ordered crispy cheese nachos, pepperoni pizza, chicken skewers and 4 cocktails. I would suggest try going in during spring or cold when it has just snowed. You’ll be able to enjoy a great cocktail or a hot toddy!
