Cypress is a great alternative to get a taste of snow at the heart of Vancouver. It’s a 20 minute drive to West Vancouver from downtown. Free parking, no need for admission if you just wanna walk around the lodge or for food on the second floor. There’s a reception area on the main floor where you could buy passes for your snow activities, a store selling snow gears, a Starbucks, and a pub, and a food court as mentioned. Overall it’s a fun getaway for all ages. I came here on Family day which is a statutory holiday in BC and the place was flooded with people. Food in food court are pricey: poutine for $8, cup noodle $6, fish and chip $12, orange juice $5, muffin $4, can beer $7. Most importantly, Don’t missed the iconic Olympic sign outside the lodge, you gotta take a selfie there ! If you like this review please give me a...

On top of expensive food and drinks, They double charge or over charge and act as a mistake. This happened to me and many members in our group - it's not a mistake. When ask to refund, they will say they have to wait for manager to come which according to the cashier can take some unknown time. I have worked in hospitality industry, this is unacceptable and unethical. Hope someone will correct this behavior of this Cafe to save guests from having a bad...

Despite the difficult weather, they remained patient, encouraging, and highly professional, ensuring we got the best possible experience. A huge thank you to the team for their hard work in such...
