Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex — Attraction in Williams Lake

Solid 4 stars. Parking lot was kind of big, and it was being made bigger when I left Williams Lake. The whole recreation complex was being expanded. The bathroom/change rooms were adequate in size. The swimming lessons my son got with his school were from nice instructors. The pool was kind small though. But I am from Kamloops, and Kamloops has the Aquatic Center that was built for the Canada Games. So I am kind of spoiled. Nice set up for the players to access either arena from the dressing rooms. Good size lobby and concession for your the fans and parents. Only downfall is the seating in the one rink is no good for watching the game on the side because your are low and right against the glass and the end seating has small uncomfortable cold aluminum bench. I use this periodically just for the gym. Usually not many people there. Nice air conditioning. Low pressure atmosphere...as in there isn't ripped people parading around in spandex grunting in your face. A wide range of shapes and sizes. A good mix of cardio, free weights and fixed weights.
