Boitanio Park — Attraction in Williams Lake

Wonderful place to hold an event. I went with a school.to share in Indigenous Day and the event was well planned and laid out. Great area for vendors and use of the stage. Clean grounds and washrooms close by. I didn't see any playground on the side I was on. Found it on the other side later. So the park is very large. Great spray park and playground toys were fun for the students. Lots of bridges to connect the toys and they put in the rubberized flooring under the toys. Perfect...

This park is stunning. There has been negative perspectives of the park over the years, but there has been lots of recent developments that are working to change that. From the beautiful band stand, gardens throughout with paved walkways, the bike park and the skateboard park, in recent years we have seen the addition of a dog park, a rock climbing boulder park, and a disc golf course. What a great place to spend a sunny day...

The park is beautiful. Area for skateboarders and fenced areas for dogs. Meandering paths for lazy walks. But there is very often unsavoury activity going on. I lived right beside it and constantly saw police cars and fighting and ambulances there. I would not recommend being alone or going after sunset. Use caution...
