Went to visit this museum excitedly on a Sunday drive with my mother only to be disappointed to find it closed on a Sunday afternoon. The website says it should be open on Sunday, and if any time it should be open, the middle of summer is definitely it. So they lose a point for that. I didn't get to see the actual hockey museum, but I did explore the grounds and see the Clifton Estate, Disc Golf Course. That was really fun to watch, as I had never seen it before, and had never even heard of it. There were many people playing it and the grounds of the museum/park were very lovely. Well worth visiting. I would just check to make sure they are actually open first.

Loved this little museum. It is just a few rooms, short and sweet. It shares the same building as the Halliburton house museum. The had lots of old skates hockey sticks pucks and jerseys to look at. There was also a diversity in hockey room that had a section on women in hockey! Loved it worth the couple dollar admission. (Admission to get it covers both Halliburton house and the birthplace of hockey).

Great museum, lots of history and and things to see. Lots of parking and washrooms. The staff was excellent. This house is completely beautiful, we loved seeing the hockey history as well. The basment with large fireplace was really cool. Love seeing how large the rooms. Great place to visit when in Windsor NS. Lots of fun photo opportunities and history to take in. We went on Canada 🇨🇦 day and it was not very busy,...
