Atmosphere and service were exceptional - 10/10! We showed up without a reservation at 630pm and we were able to grab a table inside. Waitress said they were previously full on reservations so getting this table sounded rare. We ordered: - cauliflower and Gruyère cheese soup (3/10) - no flavour and no salt at all. Once we added salt, it was somewhat better and I’m not one for enjoying much salt on my food, but this was bland as bland could get. Same to be said about the biscuit that came with it. The biscuit had so much potential - great texture, but unfortunately lacking flavour. - butter chicken (7/10) - the butter chicken was really good and came with both rice and naan. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the dish was seasoned well. The rice had no flavour (although I know that I need to mix the rice and butter chicken together) and was chunky - no oil or butter to keep it separated. It came all on one dish, rice on one half, butter chicken the other. The naan was good (seemed store bought) but 1 piece was buttered nicely and the rest were smothered in butter - almost dripping. Overly garlicky, too. - lemon ricotta linguine (7/10) - really good flavour and came with a good amount of shrimp - all cooked well. It came with a side of garlic baguette (toasted) and it had the same butter/garlic on it that my naan had by the looks of it, but it had no flavour to it - no salt and no garlic. The dish came with a slice of lemon that had 6 seeds in it - I think the least they could do is give a lemon wedge without pits so I could actually be used on the dish. We had all the above plus 2 non-alcoholic drinks and our bill was $75 before tip. We also both had leftovers to take home, keep in mind.

Update: I've gone there for lunch a couple times this summer. Lunch specials are now $15 which is reasonable and there are lots of delicious options. Lots of personal pizzas and a few sandwich selections with a cup of soup. I had the Tom Kha last time and it was delicious but everyone was raving about the cauliflower gruyere so I had to try that today. Both were equally good and very craveable. Today I tried their half chicken pesto club and it was also very good. The focaccia is so fresh and the pesto is not overpowering. It was very filling. Service has always been good for me here and the special came out quickly. This part of my review is from 2020 - note, they no longer have jalapeno for the pizza and the pizza has increased in price, but is still very reasonable. We popped in here to take out at lunch today. A personal Hawaiian pizza with jalapeño at $10 and side garden salad for just $3 extra. I loved the pickled onion and smidge of goat cheese on the salad. The pizza was so good. Pleasantly spicy with a hint of sweetness from the pineapple. I'm so pleased they have some great specials for lunch time! Personal pizzas, soup and salad, sandwiches, lots of options! I highly recommend.

I have nothing bad to say about this place! My husband and I were here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon when driving through Windsor. We loved each thing we ordered and shared. Had two glasses and a reusable glass bottle of cold water, that was exchanged when we finished the first. Fast service and attentive. I started with a café amaretto and we shared the lobster dip. It came with salted rice crackers and delicious bread. I asked about the salmon eggs Benedict if there was a chance I could get it dressed more as their salmon crepe (adding cream cheese) and it was amazing. My husband got the pesto chicken sandwich and they offered the full and it was also a great choice! I love pesto and it had such a nice soft, smoky taste from the bacon. Both our dishes came with the potatoes and those were so good. Excellently seasoned and needed nothing else. We did have another order delivered to our table by another server who made a small mistake, but they were quick to fix it and everything was well timed. I would recommend this place, it is kid friendly and they have a nice little patio too!

Greeted by a person frowning and asking us if we had a reservation. Made us feel like we were a ‘hassle’ and not a customer. No, ‘hello’, just a terse question. Waitstaff arrived and said, “how are you doing with the menu”. No hello, no good evening, nothing. Maybe I’m needy, but a simple hello from a waitstaff is kind of customary. She stood there. Motionless with pen and paper waiting for us to order. I asked two questions. Any specials? Theyre response? “No, just the menu”. I asked for a non-alcoholic beer, they pointed to the menu that had no non-alcoholic beers on it. It’s like they were stripped of any personality. I felt bad for them. You could tell they hated their job. So, we order. Food comes out in good time. Seafood chowder and pad Thai. Chowder was salty with overcooked mussels and lousy, tiny, rubber shrimp. The pad Thai was flavorless. Just peanut butter and noodles. No salt, no pepper, no chilies, no basil. We ate a few bites and bailed on them. We went next door to the spitfire. Laura, the bartender greeted us as soon as we walked in. They were happy to see us! Do you self a favor and skip the hole in the wall and go to the...
