Read moreEdit!!!!!!! I've left my previous review. So that they could see what they've lost, in my opinion, on their restaurant.
A major disappointment has occurred twice since my original review. Walkers has fallen into a abyss that I'll never see them come out of. As I'll never return. Well aware how battered fish is prepared, so no excuse. I've eaten plenty of it. Yours was so oily, it was unedible. Too bad, some of it didn't penetrate into the sawdust that the batter contained. Ice cold scallops. Oily, shrimp. Cold french fries, of course, oily, likely from the overly oily fish. There was nothing good brought to our table. One bad meal, I could have overlooked. But the one previous, on my last visit. Was being accounted for. I've had the grill cheese sandwich, enough to know. That my previous ones were never made with kraft chesse slices. I'd expect a 12 dollar sandwich to be not made with plastic chesse. That trip, I laughed. This one, no.... Don't wait until you think I wouldn't hear your comment, " And there wasn't even a tip." Before you exclaime your own complaint. No, there certainly wasn't a tip for such a drastically bad meal. 0 out of 10!!!! From a former dinner.
10 out of 10! The appetizer was so good, spinach dip and crisper. Steak was...
Read moreMany years of meals have been enjoyed here, stopped in last week and big changes... Change ain't always good.... I could tell right away something wasn't as it had been for the years I've enjoyed going here. There were meal mix ups what I ordered and what was placed on the table for me were two different things. I observed this at a few tables where the patrons sent the dish back and had to wait for what they ordered. I didn't have time to wait so I as mom always said eat what's in front of you I ate what was in front of me. The original ladies that I've got to know over time eating here were visably shook. Things were changing with the new owners and it wasn't what they knew. It's too bad you know folks can't stick with the ole " if it ain't broke don't fix it" rule... Cause things was just fine the week before when we ate here and the ten years before that.. there was no wrong plates placed in front of us , it was a friendly place where the gals would chat a bit with us, relaxed comfortable friendly atmosphere... Looks like Ontario has swollowed up a lil bit of gods country.. I'm sorry but I can't see me going back...
