Anshun Bridge — Attraction in Chengdu

The Anshun Bridge is one of Chengdu’s most iconic historical landmarks, celebrated for its architectural beauty and cultural significance. Spanning the Jin River, this bridge has stood as a symbol of Chengdu’s history and resilience, blending traditional Chinese design with the charm of the city’s modern skyline.

One of the unique features of Anshun Bridge is the restaurant located on top of it, offering diners a chance to enjoy meals while overlooking the serene river. This makes the bridge not only a historical attraction but also a vibrant spot for visitors seeking a memorable dining experience.

Got ourselves a table at the bar’s outdoor seating to enjoy the change in scenery from daylight to night time, and was treated to quite a majestic view.

💡 the bridge lighted up around Google Map’s sunset timing despite the sun not fully set yet, which brings about a different kind of view leading into the night time.

🌉 the naming convention of the bridge apparently changed after it was rebuilt in 2002 (According to some reviews online), from Nine Eye Bridge to the current Anshun Bridge - hence the difference in names across different platforms and sources.

Definitely a spot to come by and enjoy the bridge with the lights up and admire how this huge structure sits...

Jiu Yan Bridge, also called Jiu Yan Qiao Bar Street. Amazing and famous spot places combined bar street and Chinese ancient architecture bridge. Attention! Only come here in the evening. I love the atmosphere here, girls are hot and a lot of DJ, street singers, people are enthusiastic and free.
