We had a wonderful 8-day stay at Rhombus Park Aura Chengdu Hotel. I would like to especially thank the front desk staff who made us feel completely at home with their warm hospitality. Marry, Grace, Rachel, Mike, Kitty, and Pegay always greeted us with bright smiles and polite, friendly manners. Every day, they would warmly say hello and patiently answer all our questions. When we asked about sightseeing spots and transportation, they kindly took the time to search for detailed information to help us plan our trips.||A very special thanks to Marry — she left a deep impression on us with her constant radiant smile. No matter when we met her, she always greeted us warmly and offered her help with great care and attention. Her thoughtful service and genuine friendliness made us feel truly cared for and at ease throughout our stay.||The housekeeping staff were also impressive. Every morning, they greeted us with friendly smiles and kept our room spotlessly clean, ensuring it was always tidy and comfortable. On our check-out day, the cleaning lady even kindly helped us carry our luggage — very thoughtful and attentive.||The security staff were polite and friendly. A great hotel in an excellent central location within walking distance of many of the best areas to spend time.

Staff have very good english and are considerate and dealt with all queries very well.

The breakfast is very good and varied with both Asian and Western staples provided.

The deep bath was much appreciated but know that they do not provide bath salts or bubble bath so I strongly advise you to bring your own to take advantage of this.

There was a faulty light in my room which was a little bit annoying but as I was only there for a weekend and it was in the bathroom it did not affect the quality of my stay.

Be careful with the drinks etc that they leave littered around the room to catch you out. The free water bottles are in an obscure place whereas they place bottles of evian next to your bed and energy drinks in convenient places as if they are complimentary rather than keeping them in the mini-bar.

The rooms also lack a visitor booklet which details check-out time, breakfast time etc which is quite annoying.

Rhombus Park Aura Chengdu Hotel (榛悦隆堡成都酒店) is conveniently located right next to Chengdu Tai Koo Li (成都太古里), a popular shopping district surrounded by various malls and retail centres.

Check-in was smooth and pleasant. The receptionist clearly explained the chargeable items in the room. A deposit of 800 CNY was required for our 2-night stay.

We booked the Deluxe Twin room, which was spacious and came with a bathtub. The dry and wet areas of the bathroom were separated, and you could enjoy a view of the city while soaking in the tub. However, the sliding door separating the bathroom and bedroom was somewhat translucent, so your travel companion might be able to see inside — something to take note of.

All toiletries were provided. Towels and bed linens were clean, the water pressure was strong, and both the pillows and beds were very comfortable.
