Golden Beach — Attraction in Hong Kong

There is a string of beaches along Castle Peak Road southeast of Tuen Mun including Cafeteria Old, Cafeteria New and Golden Beach. It is nicely located for those staying at Gold Coast hotel, not far from the town centre of Tuen Mun. The beach sand is pretty good, plenty of designated swimming area, facilities and a few eateries at the nearby Golden Coast Piazza.

It’s a beautiful beach in the new territories of Hong Kong. Slightly narrower but quite a long beach with facilities or shower and changing rooms. One can carry their tents or mats and enjoy the beach. It’s a bit Sandy with stones and shells but then that’s what a beach is about. Lovely place! We live so close (Fu Tei) but have only recently ventured down! We went to Golden Beach, which was a picturesque setting with enough people around to make it seem inviting. The sand was very shelly though but who cares - we didn't go in the water but I imagine it's a pretty similar standard to those at most of Hong Kong's beaches.
