Bistro Hoi An is a great restaurant with great staff. The waiters and staff were very friendly and funny, I had the lemongrass chicken rice.
The chicken rice was BANGING, the skin was crispy and the charcoal flavour soaked deep into the chicken meat. The rice on the other hand complemented the chicken being refreshing and soaked up any oils.
I also ordered the charcoal pork belly. This was one of the best pork bellies I have ever tasted. The flavour was immaculate, it exploded with juices and flavour inside my mouth and melted on my tongue. However it was a little too oily but that’s expected as I ordered pork belly and the rest of the food was refreshing.
The desert caramelised popcorn banana was a 10/10, if i was served this in a 3 Michelin star restaurant I would be happy. Despite the name and combination of ingredients this was strangely good. The biscoff ice cream gave a christmassy bittersweet taste which was perfectly complemented by the caramelised banana. The sweetness of the banana made my sweet tooth happy and the soft texture was very nice. The banana was contrasted by the crunchy biscoff crumbs which perfectly added a layer of texture to the flavour. There was raspberry as well which elevated the desert to the next level with a sour taste. 10/10 MUST...
Read moreWhat a find! We’ve literally eaten at every restaurant in the Gold Coast Piazza except for this one and decided to give it a try one night. We didn’t have particularly high expectations given its location, as all of the other restaurants are ok and relatively pricey for what you get. Our first meal blew us away! Fantastic flavors, friendly and efficient service and a pleasant atmosphere at reasonable prices (for the piazza). We wound up eating here four times in one week, it was that good. We tried ten different dishes over the course of our visits and everything was done superbly. One of those rare meals where everything is tasty and satisfying. Will...
Read moreI recently dined at this delightful Vietnamese restaurant in Gold Coast Piazza. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, although portions were slightly small. They offer a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The rice paper rolls were fantastic, with fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. The friendly staff provided excellent service. The interior decoration, including Vietnamese lanterns, added charm and authenticity, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. If you're looking for a nice Vietnamese restaurant, this place is worth a visit. Great food, reasonable prices, extensive drink selection, friendly staff, and...
