Hong Kong Velodrome Park — Attraction in Hong Kong

Everything you need from Hongkong best urban outdoor activities: skateboard path, bikes path as well as jogging and waking, bike velodrome for the more the more advanced, a nice park, and if you are in the mood of a drink or a bite bars and waterfront reataurans are not far from the velodrome. Plan your day in this beautiful "garden" of HK. MTR stations are in the vicinity such as TKO and Hang Hau. Excellent area to hangout with friends, family.. or simply alone. Ps: you can also rent a bike and circulate on the bike path connecting at least 4 MTR stations.

Pretty little landscaped park sat behind the Velodrome stadium. Light exercise machines and rest areas for the active older folk and a skateboarding park up the park for the younger daredevils. Large lawn and fountain centred in the middle perfect for a picnic. Shaded seating areas available, but be prepared with insect repellant, as the midgies/no-see-ems come out in full force just after the rain. Perfect park for the kiddies as there is no access to the road and has large spaces for games...

The velodrome park is awesome. Situated in a large park it is the center of athletic speed bike activity. They also have small cafe, and several sports room throughout. Basically a community center with a bike focus. It is pretty close to two MTRs. It basically bike friendly and there is some parking. They also have a free kids play area that you are probably LINING up for as it gets very busy and they limit it to 60 kids or so per hour or 1.5 hours at the less...
