Pacific Pier: A Disappointing Encounter with Seals We visited the Pacific Pier with the hope of seeing seals up close. While the concept of viewing them from above and from the side is interesting, the reality was disappointing. The exhibit itself looks dull and empty. The seals seemed bored and were mostly just lounging around. There wasn't much activity to observe, which made the experience rather underwhelming. The pier itself is also quite small, so you won't spend much time there. It's really just a quick stop-off on your way to other attractions. Overall, we were not impressed with the Pacific Pier. If you're looking to see seals, there are better options available at Ocean Park.

Seal and sea lions are cute and there is a paid activity that you can interact with and feed sea lions. Only 8 pax can join in each sessions. ($480/pax). If you only feed them, you can pay $80. Pay attention, the downstairs level was closed for renovation, the staff said they don’t know when it will be re-open. So sad, the downstairs level can see sea lions swimming.
