Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs — Attraction in Islands District

Warning- If the wait is over 30 mins, don’t waste your time queuing up (Thank me later!)

The newest ride in Disney but also the most disappointing ride.

The ride itself was only 20 seconds (felt like less than 10 seconds), similar to other reviews shared. It was so short that everyone behind us on this ride were surprised it was finished.

We bought the fast pass to save time (HKD129, wait was over 70 mins), and I was pissed the ride was so short. I couldn’t imagine how I’d felt if I waited 60+ mins just to get on this ride. Felt like a scam.

Not really sure where Disney is going with this ride, it already has plenty of “baby rides”, but Oaken Slide had zero surprise factors, no speed, no height, no length, no storyline, no backdrop…no nothing. I don’t think the design team put much effort in building this ride, considering the type of resources they can get in 2023 and what a successful IP Frozen has been. They just wanted to put a rollercoaster in Arendelle, but didn’t care to put any wow factors in there. There are so many ideas they could’ve used for this ride- The Stone Trolls ride, The Marshmallow Icy Snow man ride, etc. instead they just decided to waste everyone’s money and time. TOTAL Disney money grab…

Last but not least, I do recommend some of my favorite rides in the HK Disney worth queuing up for- Big Grizzly and Mystic...

Utterly disappointing!

Totally felt deceived taking the ride cox from outside it seems like it's at least more then 1 round BUT in actual fact it is JUST 1 short cycle which finishes before you even know it and you will totally have a HUH! THAT'S ALL?!!! reaction ... lll-_-

Totally being conned paying Premier Pass for such a ride after seeing a 80 min wait . So ironically it is going to be either feeling conned into paying Premier for such a super ride OR getting super angry wasting precious time Q-ing over an hour ONLY to realise what a TOTAL waste of time for the wait!

PLEASE don't bother wasting your time Q-ing for this ride

Grizzle ride is SO MUCH better .. thought it was a simple ride around the mountains BUT it is actually much MORE then that...

We were incredibly disappointed with our experience on Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs. Despite waiting for a whopping 1 hour and 30 minutes, the actual ride lasted less than a minute. It felt like such a waste of time, especially when we saw people cutting the line.

The ride itself is quite short and doesn't offer much excitement. It's a shame that such a long wait was required for such a brief and underwhelming experience. We hope that the park management can address the line-cutting issue and improve the overall experience for future visitors.
