Donghua University — Attraction in Shanghai

This is my advice: I you are an international student, stay away from Donghua. This is a terrible University, indeed. Don’t waste your time and money, it is a complete disappointment. Very low level of education. Most of the offered courses to choose from are not available in fact. Many lectures during the semester cancelled without giving any reason. Some of the professors completely unprepared to work with students, spiteful or even sadistic in a way, perhaps because of their incompetence unconsciously, like this poor devil Nicola Zivlak from Serbia. Staff isn’t helpful. Institution of personal student’s advisor is fake, pure propaganda from the leaflet, doesn’t exist at all. Student gets no support whatsoever during the semester. No effort of the University for integration of international students. Warning! Definitely not recommended. Chinese cheapline education. In their advertising brochure, they say: “Teachers from 23 countries!”. Unbelievable nonsense; as far as I know there have never been 23 teachers of international program there! Perhaps...

The school is very beautiful, a lake passing through the campus. It has the most delicious cafeteria among Shanghai's universities. Teachers all have great qualities. It's very worth visiting...
