Parapente Aventura Medellin — Attraction in Antioquia

One of the worst and most traumatic experiences of my life. This company is run remotely, with no one physically present to take accountability they just subcontract availible pilots. My friend and I arrived early and checked in, only to be lied to repeatedly. We were told the pilot was “on the way” when we literally saw him standing around earlier. Either he was never informed we were ready or he just didn’t care. We waited for nothing, and by the time they figured it out, we were put on a weather hold that could’ve been avoided if they honored the reservation.

Once we finally flew, things got worse. I paid extra for GoPro footage, and my pilot clearly had no idea how to use it. I got one shaky, useless video. Meanwhile, my friend had an amazing flight, great footage, and a pilot who actually seemed competent.

The landing was terrifying. It was so violent I genuinely thought I broke my back. I blacked out from the pain and was left lying in the mud, alone. I asked for water, and the pilot left me there. I couldn’t stand. I fell over again trying. I was dazed, in agony, and covered in mud, wondering if I should go to the hospital. Looking back, I had clear signs of a concussion. But with a flight the next day, I had to just endure it.

This company doesn’t care about your safety. There’s no supervision, no support—just a nameless operator on WhatsApp. It felt like I was nothing but a transaction to them. If I had more time, I’d be pursuing legal action. Please, don’t make the same mistake I did. Stay far away. Its been two weeks after crash and i still have some pain...
