Centro Comercial Bulevar Niza — Attraction in Bogota, Capital District

One of the largest malls in Bogota and one of the oldest. It was an icon of local architecture when opened in 1988. Its generous spaces and design made it a pleasure to walk around. However, it has been awfully remodeled throughout the years, and today it is a shadow of what once was. The convoluted exterior matches a very disorganized interior. Still you will find many stores, restaurants, movie theaters that will satisfy your most common appetites. Should you get out of your way to visit this mall if you are a tourist in Bogota? Nicely located shoppingsenter in the North part of Bogota. The first thing people want in all kinds of places they visit is a nice atmosphere, good collection of different shops, restaurants and clean toilets. Unfortunately Bulevar has dirty toilets, absolutely no toilet paper, nor any toilet seats. We tried 3 different toilets (men and womens) but they were all the same. Very bad! Super shopping center of high class. Great variety of stores with high quality products. Some more exotic things at the Jumbo Nisa in foreign foods and my garlic stuffed olives. A limited wine section not large bulk but as I said high quality. A number of unrented stores but high quality offerings in a pleasant layout. The Jumbo was in a strange place but we look forward to many visits as we moved nearby. Expect the same...
