FORTUNA EXPEDITIONS: Tours, Transfers & Info Center — Attraction in La Fortuna

Carlos went above and beyond to ensure I had an amazing time in La Fortuna. He communicated so well and responsed in a timely manner whenever I had questions. I highly reccomend booking a private ride & excursions through Fortuna Expeditions!!!

The driver (Adrian) that picked me up from the airport and took me to my Airbnb was so so lovely. He shared amazing stories about Costa Rica and is so full of life. At the end of our ride I felt like I was with a friend and not a driver I had just met a few hours ago. As a solo female traveler I felt extremely safe the entire car ride and he ensured me that the area I was staying in is safe as well! Such a beautiful way to be welcomed to Costa Rica✨

I also booked a canyoning tour through Fortuna Expeditions with Carlos!!! Signing up was so easy and they were able to pick me up directly from my Airbnb as well. The canyoning tour was amazing beyond words🤩 It gives you an adrenaline rush and feeling of freedom!! The guides were very kind and experts at their job.

We used this service from SJO airport to La Fortuna, as well as the return journey. It was so convenient, and the driver was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Our drive to La Fortuna was late at night due to our flight time and it was raining the whole drive, so it was a blessing to have this private transfer that knew the area well. We felt safe traveling around Costa Rica with the Yorlen (our driver both ways!). Yorlen offered to stop for if we wanted to buy some souvenirs or get ourselves some lunch/dinner along the way. We took him up on this offer on the way back to Alajuela and it was perfect. He also stopped and pulled over to point out some howler monkeys he spotted in a tree on the drive, as well as stopped at La Paz waterfall along the drive to let us take some pictures. I would definitely recommend this service for anyone that wants to have a private transfer in the area.

Carlos was the one in charge of coordinating our service and he was always quick to respond to any questions we had and make sure everything went smoothly.

Fortuna Expeditions was a fantastic company to work with on our multigenerational family trip to La Fortuna! We had a group of 9 and had private transfers to & from airport & a private van for daily transportation. Carlos had excellent recommendations for tours - we did the boat tour, horseback riding, hot springs, zip lining, & hanging bridges tours. He also had great recommendations for restaurants in the area. Carlos is excellent with communication and put me at ease every step from planning a few months ahead to daily changes and additions. I would HIGHLY recommend Fortuna Expeditions and will definitely book everything directly with them next time we come to Costa Rica.
