The art to find he is absolutely beautiful. The galleries here focus on Cuban art. They demonstrate their own particular styles while portraying the struggles of Cuba throughout their difficult history. That said the reason for the low score is due to the way we were treated by their staff. We were told when we purchased our tickets (8usd if you buy one that includes arte universal) that we could photograph anything we wanted. After that we were promptly yelled at by another woman who also made remarks. If your staff isn't trained well they can at least make sure they are providing correct information. After that I was also able to hear some make less than...

A superb museum with outstanding art that you can't see anywhere else. Most of the art is on the third floor and some more on the second floor. First floor has only a few outdoor statues and an excellent gift shop. They have many great prints and souvenirs available for quite low prices (relative to international prices). Even the large posters are 500-1000 Cuban pesos ($1.5 to 3 USD). The staff are very helpful and friendly, but they don't have the best packing materials available. We spent a leisurely 2 hours, which felt like...

A jewel! We all know more or less what Cuban music is about, but you really need to see Cuban art of the 20th century to appreciate the versatility of Cuban culture. It's a pleasure for the eyes and the soul even for people with limited knowledge and interest in the visual arts. It is only such a pity that the 19th century section is closed due to lack of staff. Cubans, your absolutely exquisite culture is the most precious thing you can hang on to, be proud of and present to the world in these dire times!

The Museum of Fine Arts in Havana is located in the centre of the city. The entrance fee is 65 CUP for foreign visitors, and the building is in three floors. When I visited in July 2025, not all chambers were accessible and certain areas were under renovation. There are some fine works from the Cuban artists at displays and all the area in accessed by a ramp which goes around the three floors. Unfortunately, there are no elevators, and the air conditioning is not efficient.
