We booked a 3 day wine tour with Wine Tours Moravia as part of our first visit to the Czech Republic. Sometimes when you so look forward to a trip you can be disappointed with the actual experience. In this case Anna and Max exceeded our expectations greatly. They are both lovely, knowledgeable wine enthusiasts that filled our 3 days with one amazing stop after another. We had no idea of the breadth of Moravian viniculture and they provided an introduction that won't be forgotten. We visited some of the larger wineries and many of the smallest unknown wineries that produced some amazing wines. While I had some concerns before arriving that 3 days for this tour night be too much, I left feeling like there was so much more to see. Read moreThis was a highlight of our honeymoon. Anna was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine making process and was ready to answer any of our questions! We chose the best of Moravia one day tour and could not be happier with everything that she showed us and all the wine tasting we did. I literally filled a suitcase with wine I purchased throughout the tour and still wish I had purchased more, especially from the batch they made in their wine cellar (Anna, I’m coming back for more of that wine and Griotka) I 100% recommend you book with Wine Tours Moravia. It will not disappoint you and for the quality of the tour and authenticity of it all it’s more than money well spent....
Read moreWe booked last minute and were lucky to join the tour the very next day. The day started on top of a hill by a vineyard, where we received our own personalised wine glass to use for tastings throughout the day. We then visited three different wineries, all perfectly organised by Anna. She has extensive knowledge, answers every question, and creates a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Between the wine tastings, there were special extras, such as a tasting in the cellar of some of Anna’s winemaker friends and a short hike up to a ruin with interesting explanations. Also the lunch was extraordinary! Our small group of four, plus two friendly Brits, made the day even more enjoyable.
A wonderful day filled with beautiful sights, delicious wines, and great conversations. Highly recommended especially...
