Outstanding Dining Experience at Drogeri in Mikulov
When we arrived at Drogeri in Mikulov, we were initially concerned to see the restaurant fully packed and only two staff managing the entire venue. However, any doubts quickly vanished as we experienced their exceptional service. The staff worked with remarkable efficiency, attending to each table with care and ensuring no one felt overlooked.
The speed and attentiveness with which they served us were truly impressive, and when our meals arrived, they exceeded all expectations. The dishes were exquisite—clearly crafted with skill and passion. Each bite was a testament to the quality and creativity of the kitchen.
The wine selection was equally outstanding. We enjoyed our choice so much that we couldn’t resist purchasing a bottle to take home. It’s a perfect reminder of the memorable evening we spent at Drogeri.

Read moreUs four, parents with two kids and a small dog, arrived 21.6. early afternoon for lunch. It was pretty busy but there was a table free for us, and it was open which was great.
I really loved the food, my orders were the baguette with ham, herbs and cheese, and the pappardelle w mushrooms. I also ordered the blueberry merlot tea, which was nice and sweet. The baguette was supposed to be my appetizer but ended up pretty big, so I left half of it for later. It was still a great sandwich, warm with soft bread. The pappardelle were delicious :)
Honestly I have no real complaints regarding service, taste or ambiance, as the bistro itself looks great and the waiters knew English well, I left one star missing beacuse of the lack of clearly marked vegetarian and vegan options on the menu (and more of those options). I feel it should be norm in any public food place in this day and age.
Otherwise, great job with your...

Lunch options were a hit too – the garlic shrimp were spot on, gnocchi with pumpkin and bacon hit the comfort food level just right, and the kid’s schnitzel was a win. The chicken broth could’ve been a bit more natural, less bouillon-y maybe, but honestly, everything else made up for it.
Shoutout to the super friendly waiter – he helped us pick what to order and even suggested we speak Polish directly to make it easier, instead of struggling through English. Good stop if you're heading south.
Oh, and side note – we randomly discovered the old town of Mikulov while passing through. We’d driven by this place so many times before but never actually turned in....
