Klášter bosých karmelitánů — Attraction in okres Kladno

Barokní, původně františkánský klášter, dnes klášter řádu bosých karmelitánů při kostele Nejsvětější Trojice ve Slaném byl zbudován mezi lety 1655-1662. V té době byl obnoven kostel po zničení ve třicetileté válce roku 1623 z iniciativy českého katolického šlechtice a tehdejšího vlastníka slánského panství, Bernarda Ignáce Jana z Martinic. Po dokončení byl klášter předán řádu františkánů. Ti tu hospodařili až do roku 1950, kdy byl klášter komunistickým režimem násilně uzavřen a mniši vystěhováni. Mezi lety 1950-1989 byl komplex využíván jako skladiště, nebo sídlo autoškoly Svazarmu. V roce 1992 byl klášter vrácen ve velmi špatném stavu františkánům, kteří ho v roce 1995 darovali bosým karmelitánům. Jejich nepočetná komunita ve Slaném žije a působí od roku 1996, kdy zahájili rozsáhlou rekonstrukci kláštera.

The Baroque, originally Franciscan monastery, today the monastery of the Order of the Barefoot Carmelites at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Slane was built between 1655-1662. At that time, the church was rebuilt after its destruction in the Thirty Years' War in 1623 on the initiative of the Czech Catholic nobleman and former owner of the Slaný manor, Bernard Ignác Jan of Martinice. After its completion, the monastery was handed over to the Franciscan Order. They managed the monastery until 1950, when the monastery was forcibly closed by the communist regime and the monks were evicted. Nádherný kostel s kaplí uvnitř. Byl jsem fakt moc překvapen. Krásný duchovní zážitek při mši svaté. Chvíle zastavení v hektickém čase. Jsem tu pracovně a tak jsem druhý klášter karmelitánů nemohl nenavštívit. A v tomto počasí 34 stupňů venku bylo v kostele krásné...
