Aeronautical Museum Methodius Vlach — Attraction in okres Mladá Boleslav

We made a spontaneous stop here on our way to a meeting at Škoda Auto in Mladá Boleslav, and it turned out to be such a memorable experience. The museum was full of beautifully restored historical aircrafts — and even though I’m not a huge aviation geek, I found it genuinely fascinating. The detail on some of the early flying machines, like this one made of wood and fabric, was incredible.

The whole space had a clean, modern feel, yet it celebrated the bold and sometimes crazy ideas of the pioneers of flight. If you're into planes, engineering, or just quirky museums, this place is definitely worth the visit.

This unassuming museum located on the airfield on the outskirts of Mlada Boleslav and close to D10 motorway is a real treasure for any aircraft buff. It showcases many airplanes from the pioneering era of aviation and easily conjures up the image of those magnificent men in their flying machines. Among the highlights of the collection here the replicas of WW1 airplanes. What is more, most of the exhibits are airworthy and are regularly presented flying in various airshows. The best place to know aeroplanes and culture mechanical knowledge and place also recommends for families and children's friendly, because near they have restaurant and children play area, ticket price is also cheap. You can gain knowledge and you get fight simulation and you can fly 30 minutes for 3950 czk but for 3 people they only ask around 5000 so you can fly, but sometimes weather issues you can't fly, but summer is fine for you.
