Hotel U Hradu — Hotel in okres Mladá Boleslav

Mixed experience in this hotel, overall I cannot recommend it. We booked this hotel through the official Czech tourism office and the hotel management confirmed that it would be wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this was not the case. There were steps to the reception, narrow doorframes, a bathroom too small to enter with a wheelchair, and no shower chair.

Our room was on ground level. Since the hotel has no AC, we had to keep the windows open. This meant we could hear everything – other guests outside and the restaurant.

The hotel staff is friendly but unorganised. The location itself is beautiful with many details. However, the tables in the breakfast room are unstable, and we were even served chocolate that was already expired. For the price, I expected more.

The low point was at checkout: the entrance was blocked by a car. When I asked the driver to move it, he refused and openly insulted me, then ignored...

This hotel is with modern rooms is located in the heart of Mlada Boleslav. I stayed in the hotel, as a result of a heating failure in the pre-booked one. ||||A very nice hotel located on the main square and near the castle. The bed was comfortable. The price is a bit higher, than local standards, but includes a breakfast with a good choices. Hallo und Guten Tag, ||||ich war vor einiger Zeit in diesem Hotel untergebracht. Ich war beruflich für einen ansässigen Automobilhersteller unterwegs.||||Das Hotel ist recht einfach aber dadurch auch irgendwie gemütlich. Es es definitv nicht rollstuhlgeeignet. Es gibt zwar einen Fahrstuhl aber auch zu dem muss man ein paar Stufen steigen.||||Die Räume ist gemütlich eingerichtet und wahrscheinlich dem dortigen Standard entsprechend. Es ist relativ einfach gehalten. Ein "normaler" Kühlschrank war in unserem Zimmer untergebracht als "Minibar".||||Das Frühstück wurde in einem Zweitraum serviert und war ausreichend. Nicht sehr umfangreich aber man bekam alles was man eigentlich für ein Frühstück braucht.||||Das interessante an diesem Hotel war aber zweifelsfrei die zentrale Lage mitten in der Altstadt von Mlada Boleslav. Leider ist die Altstadt zu der Zeit ziemlich tot. Viele Häuser waren leer und mit Brettern vernagelt. Aber trotzdem gibt es noch kleinere Geschäfte und die Restaurantes und Bars in der Nähe sind trotzdem gut. ||Vor allem war der Preis (Vorspeise, großes Bier, Hauptspeise, Nachspeise, Absacker, zweites Bier) und das alles für keine 20 Euro ist schon sehr gut.||||Etwas nervig ist das Kopfsteinpflaster was in der gesamten Altstadt verlegt ist. Mit unter ein wenig schwierig zum Laufen und die Autos die dort hindurchfahren machen natürlich auch einen gewissen Lärm.||||Aber es war trotzdem ein...
