DO NOT FOLLOW SATNAV it took us to the main gate, which looked to us like the entrance to an industrial estate, the barrier opened and we drove in. We got lost in the factory driving around amongst all the military vehicles and huge site, then found there's a fence so you can't get to the museum. We tried to leave and were banned from leaving, being shouted at angrily in Czech for not having a pass, and that we couldn't leave, and big problem. We then had to unpack EVERYTHING from our car, on holiday for 2 weeks so we have a lot, even literally every bag of clothes on the floor, so they could examine everything. Read moreIf you like motor vehicles, you must visit this museum because it is incredible. The building is brand new, beautifully made and very well-kept. There are about 70 TATRA vehicles in the exhibition, all in exceptional condition, many being over 100 years old. You can find a huge variety of civilian, firefighter and military trucks from all eras and in different variants and configurations. There are even some one-off vehicles like examples used for rally or exploration caravans they took around the world. It is truly mind-blowing how many trucks TATRA made and what a rich and colourful history this company has. This museum honours this fantastic legacy! I only wish they had some more written information available for...

Everything from the first vehicles made, through the legendary Dakar winners to the new ones was great. The vehicles are in perfect shape & condition and a lot of them have license plates (so they are probably registered and can be driven to exhibitions / shows). There are things for both children and adults, with both things like an app that you can either download to your phone, or borrow a tablet before you go inside that lets you scan through a QR code and show videos/more pictures. We bought tickets online for the ease of entering, as we didn't know if there would be any school trips etc. when we arrived. Would...
