Hotel Olympia — Hotel in okres Nový Jičín

The hotel is located close to the Tatra Museum in Koprivnice and also close to where there shops and some options for dining.|The rooms are quite large but very basic and no decent office chair for the desk - just two wooden sitting-things that are extremely uncomfortable to use. The rooms are equipped with the necessities but nothing more than that. Note for female guests: No hairdryers in the rooms.|The breakfast is OK and sufficient and with a variety of options.|The "bar" is a strange experience - you cannot charge things to your room and you cannot pay with credit card. Cash only and preferably Czech Kroner. This is not acceptable in my view for a hotel where the facility is right next to the reception.|15 meters away (as in right next door) there is a restaurant with very nice pizzas - and bills from there can be charged to the hotel room...... Now I don't understand the logic anymore, but it works and that's the main thing. One note about the pizza restaurant: Smoking is allowed in the restaurant.....|All in all, the Olympia is an OK place to stay but for a stay only. Not suitable for...

This is, no doubt, the best hotel facility in Kopřivnice. The hotel is centrally located. The rooms are modern as well as bathroom. Everything is clean. Breakfasts are adequate with plenty to choose from plus staff is prepared to make you fresh omelete etc.. I stayed in this hotel few times before and it is my first choice when I stay in the town from time to time when travelling on sport events (handball).||For dining I can recommend the pizzeria next door where they make...

Very bad hotel experience

Reception close early and if you losted your room key or anything happened you'll sleep in the street

No security

No AC inside the rooms and when you complain about that they bring a water system cool AC very very noisy
