Sauna Spot — Attraction in Prague

I've been a patron of Sauna Spot since 2018, considering it a benchmark for quality service. However, lately, there's been a lack of attention to maintaining order, especially regarding noise from visitors on the second floor. The loud atmosphere makes it challenging to relax in the indoor lounge zone during winter.

On the positive side, Sauna Spot excels in ceremonies. The artisans, particularly Robert and Pepa, deliver outstanding towel ritual shows with perfect heat levels. Arnie's choreography is fantastic. Kudos to these awesome performers.

Sauna Spot offers various sauna rooms worth exploring if the main one is crowded. Their massages are absolutely amazing and highly recommended.

Moreover, the pricing policy is reasonable, especially with the multisport card, making it affordable at below 200 CZK for 90 minutes or the entire day from 9 AM to 5 PM.

My recent visit to Sauna Spot left me utterly dissatisfied. The lack of authentic sauna culture was evident from the moment I stepped in. Instead of a tranquil and serene environment, I was bombarded with excessive noise that completely disrupted any chance of relaxation.

The staff's demeanor was far from pleasant. Their attitude was unwelcoming and seemed to reflect a lack of professionalism. It's disheartening to encounter such unpleasant individuals in what should be a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation.

One of the most glaring issues was the severe overcrowding. The limited space was crammed with people, making it impossible to move around comfortably. This overcrowding not only detracted from the overall experience but also raised concerns about health and safety.

To my disbelief, I even witnessed a highly inappropriate scene in the shower area. Two naked individuals were engaged in intimate activities, creating an uncomfortable and unsuitable environment for other patrons.

It is certainly beautiful space, saunas are nice and it was pretty empty at 18:00, however after sometime it started getting very crowded. Therefore, if you’re looking for a certain feeling of privacy it’s better to come here before 18:00. Staff at the bar were super sweet, very welcoming. They have nice drinks menu as well, also teas. The one star, however, goes for the reception staff which was extremely unwelcoming and rude. This place should bring joy and relaxation to visitors, especially for this price. But once I walked out after interaction with a receptionist, I decided I am not coming back and I will be writing this review. I thought it is a normal practice for a receptionist to say “Hello, Goodbye and Thank You” in places like this (the problem wasn’t the language though, we spoke Czech)?? Moreover, we were charged for one minute extra: we were just putting on shoes and getting dressed in front of that receptionist. Absolutely ridiculous.
