DON’T judge a book by its cover!
This place is call, Mariposario de Nathaly. It’s different from the more touristic butterfly house. Very few of google reviews pictures are from this place.
The butterfly house is easy to navigate, it has many varieties of butterflies; hummingbirds and even orchids plus ducks. The price per person is inexpensive. Preferred Cash.
The schedule and times they open and close are long, gives you enough time to do other activities. It is open 2 hours or so after the most touristic butterfly house (amazing! Ask your guide if you hired one).
The small fountain with the ducks it makes you feel in paradise and, they never rush you to get out of the place! I loved that they let you stay there and enjoy yourself, take pictures and etc. There are bathrooms on the hummingbird side. And yes, it’s small but the quality it’s much better.
I honestly, was thinking in 4 stars, but there is so much work behind the scenes that we don’t see, taking care of animals and plants requires so much time! So, that gained the fifth...

Lucky for me, a young girl from the neighborhood and her brother helped me to chase the geese. When I inform the owner, he just told me that I should have kicked the animals! What a lack of responsibility for someone who should actually care about animals (care and understand them). Not...
