What an incredible find! Mauricio has curated a unique menu that draws upon the complex flavors of Ecuador’s flora and fauna. Eating at a restaurant like this is a rare experience and we were honored to enjoy what Mauricio has to offer. The menu may look limited, but there is no limiting the flavor bomb that happens when all the flavors mix in your mouth! We loved the thought of a fair trade business in such a place. Food is, comparing to other places around, a bit pricey but once you get to know their background it all makes sense and it's worth the price. Delicious meals, fantastic lemonade and great presentation. Next time I'd only prefer menu written on paper as my Spanish is not that advanced to understand all the details of what meals contain by listening (as I am intolerant to many things, I unfortunately need to know...

Very good food. Local and regional tastes. Well-cooked, seasoned and sourced. We had a carrott and leek soup, a very tasty salad and fish, and an orange cake. The soup was great, the salad was amazing and the fish tasted very good. The cake was not particularly good (it was too dry and did not taste like orange).
