While this is such a nice, beautiful place to take a calm and relaxing walk and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, the lady who works there has a tantrum when you meet up with your mom friends and their kids to take a walk together on a weekday. I love this place. It's a hidden gem in this urban environment. I visited this place for the first time after I came back from Denver. It kinda reminded me of Denver a bit since Houston is pretty much a strip mall city.

It's a great place to hike and get away from the city if only for a moment. There's a cabin with various activities for adults and kids from time to time.
