Roll Outdoors Saariselkä — Attraction in Northern Lapland

We had an awesome experience with Roll Outdoors bike rental in Saariselkä. Their service was great and very flexible. We initially rented three fat bikes for a three hours, but the staff generously told us we could return them the next morning if needed.

I was with my 12-year-old and 6-year-old girls, used every last drop of energy in the fell, and we ended up waking up late the next morning, returning the bikes 4.5 hours past the agreed time. Despite our delay, the staff were happy to hear we found the bikes useful and kindly declined our offer to pay for the extra time.

We rode 56 km around the Saariselkä area, and it was surpricingly nice adventure with the kids. You’ll def need some SISU and motivation sweets to get over the hardest hills.

Second time when I choose to rent e-bike from Roll Outdoors previous was in Rovaniemi branch but this time was for whole day. Very helpful and passionate employees explained trails and their difficulty. I am advance biker but even black trails are demanding. Well prepared bike with water resistant pouch, lock, tube, pump, tools and helmet. I done 50km on trails in National Park it was awesome. I had a top class backcountry skiing experience up in the hills! Even though it was pretty cold outside -20, it wasn’t that bad as the weather was clear, sunny and the was no wind at all. There is a nice little hut with a fireplace on route, where one can grill sausage and dry wet clothes.
