The tours we experienced were a magical experience! We did cross country skiing and snowmobiles tours on February 29th, 2020, and it was epic! Snowsuits and snow gear are provided so that you will keep you warm and comfortable and are available with your purchased package. Stephan and Kaitsu were our tour guides on the snowmobile tour. The tour I would highly recommend customizing a tour that will create the best experience for you. We enjoyed a tour that included ice fishing, enjoying a private cabin with lunch, and exploring the wilderness. We also loved learning how to cross country ski with Fanne! The "adventure to Hammastunturi wilderness area" was an absolutely satisfying and stunning experience for us, looking for an advanced and challenging snowmobile tour. Our guide Pete really went the extra mile and enabled us to get the maximum out of this trip. We drove our snowmobile through different types of terrain (hills, forrest, open lakes) - approx. 2.5h each way and hiked almost to the top of Pänniordo (the highest fell in Hammastunturi wilderness area, 531m) before we had reindeer soup and sausages over the fire on our way back to Saariselkä. All in all we spent a great day (8h+) and highly recommend this tour for everyone seeking a physical challenge and a little advanced...

The icefishing was a great experience. Sadly we catched no fish, but we hat a sausage at the fire when we got back from the lake. Lucky, we where just a little group of 3 guests + the very friendly instructors. We did the 3 hour Aurora icefishing with snowmobiling. We got a short instruction how to ride them and then we did a 20 minutes ride to a private lake,where we got a hot drink and an instruction in icefishing. We stayed about an hour on the lake before going back to the little log cabin in the forest for another hot drink and the sausages. The snowmobiling was so much fun.
