Savonlinna Market Square — Attraction in Savonlinna sub-region

Good place to buy local pastries, berries, vegetables and handcrafts as well as miscelanious items during the summer. There are also some restaurants and site seeing tours by waterboat in the vicinity and 3 coffee/pastry kiosks in the market area. During summer time the market is active roughly from 9 am to 4 - 5 pm, after which it quiets down. During off-season there is not much to experience here.
