An excellent museum with friendly staff and a useful permanent collection on show. The park location near the zoo and Japanese gardens is an added attraction, The main feature now is a fascinating presentation of works by Magdalena Abakanowicz. The exhibition adds documentation of her career development and visual aids to the appreciation of works; photos showing the works in context, film from the studio production, phtos of the artist. Nice museum with cool art, we went for the historic ticket which was 20 PLN per person without discount. They had different kinds of paintings (mostly oil paintings), some sculptures and few media art. They also had a “relief station” in front of some of the artwork, which respresented (some parts of) the artwork to be able to touch it, that I really liked! Also nice for people with a vision impairment I assume.
