Wine was actually not bad but the experience was terrible. Had the tasting of 4 whites and 4 reds, Hostess (unsure if it was language related) had this take it or leave it attitude which is demeaning to say the very least. We understand that taste is very personalized but at least provide us with some information about the wines instead of serving them in unmarked bottles without any context. She did try to explain different terroir of the wine she was serving but without much context in the way of maps and even wine labels it’s just too difficult to understand it. Most of us don’t have the different wine lots, soil type, and microclimate in burgundy etched into our brains. Perhaps this experience would be different to the aficionados but certainly not for us. For those of us who’d like to know and learn more about the wines at burgundy, avoid their tasting...

The Louis Jadot establishment is easy to get to with plenty of parking. Personnel inside make you feel welcome and provide information as well as opinion on their various selection of wines. After selecting over 12 bottles to return with we were quite satisfied with the visit. Suddenly noticing my I.D. was still with the employee. To our surprise the employee made a photocopy of it for their ‘records’, in case we dispute the charge, we were informed. Interestingly enough I watched as other people purchased wine and the employee did not make a photocopy. We promptly asked for the copy to be retrieved and met some resistance before the copy being returned. I can’t verify that was the only copy made. Such a beautiful experience, ruined...

Phoned the day before and arranged tour of cellars and wine tasting. Recommend phoning to arrange in advance. 30 euro per person. Mary showed us the through the wine making process as harvest had only taken place 2 weeks prior, so work of wine making was in full action, then through the barrel storage cellars and then a wine tasting of 3 whites and 4 reds to finish. Mary was knowledgeable on the wineries history, about Burgundy and all the varying area’s in which grapes were harvested by “Louis Jardot” to make white and...

This was a lovely winery to visit. We went on a quiet day and it was just us and the tour guide. It was fantastic to hear all about the process and the attention that is put into every bottle. Downstairs there were so many barrels of wine it would make your head spin and afterwards we did a wine tasting and got to try a few different delicious and rarer samples.

During our visit we were able to try some of the best wines France has to offer. On top of a sublime tasting experience, we learned about the Burgundy region and its wine making industry. Pierrick was an amazing host! Absolutely recommended visit.
