Wine was actually not bad but the experience was terrible. Had the tasting of 4 whites and 4 reds, Hostess (unsure if it was language related) had this take it or leave it attitude which is demeaning to say the very least. We understand that taste is very personalized but at least provide us with some information about the wines instead of serving them in unmarked bottles without any context. She did try to explain different terroir of the wine she was serving but without much context in the way of maps and even wine labels it’s just too difficult to understand it. Most of us don’t have the different wine lots, soil type, and microclimate in burgundy etched into our brains. Perhaps this experience would be different to the aficionados but certainly not for us. Read moreThe Louis Jadot establishment is easy to get to with plenty of parking. Personnel inside make you feel welcome and provide information as well as opinion on their various selection of wines. After selecting over 12 bottles to return with we were quite satisfied with the visit. Suddenly noticing my I.D. was still with the employee. To our surprise the employee made a photocopy of it for their ‘records’, in case we dispute the charge, we were informed. Interestingly enough I watched as other people purchased wine and the employee did not make a photocopy.
