Paris Yacht 1 — Attraction in Boulogne-Billancourt

Quite simply said … experiencing a dinner cruise on Paris Yacht 1 along the Seine River is purely magical. Everyone loves Paris … the food, the wine, the landmarks, the shopping … so much so that it can be a bit overwhelming. I wanted to something really special to celebrate two birthday’s in our group of four. Paris offered so many possibilities when trying to find just the right thing. The four of us love being on the water so I googled Seine River-dinner cruise. Paris Yacht 1 stood out because it is a beautiful classic Dutch yacht built in 1966. So I clicked on the link and started my research. Denis Legrarde, owner and Captain of Paris Yacht 1 is delightful to communicate with to set up your booking. He offered several options. We chose a 2.5 hour cruise, start time our choice at 20:00 and a four course dinner. We arrived and were greeted by Denis and his colleague Bruno. The table on the stern of the boat was as beautifully set as any fine dining restaurant in Paris. We got settled around the table, given a glass of champagne and headed out into the Seine. What followed was 2.5 hours of seeing Paris from a vantage point like never before, having the most delicious meal served at a pace that was like watching a beautiful ballet and soaking up the last of the lingering summer daylight that Paris is famous for. Denis and Bruno could not have been nicer. They were friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. Our private trip on Yacht 1 along the Seine was an absolute delight! It provided the perfect mix of tranquility and luxury as we cruised with two families, including kids who had a blast throughout the journey. The sights from the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame were even more mesmerizing from the deck of the yacht.
