Immersion Canyon — Attraction in Briançon

Excellent ! 6 of us in total, comprising 2 families each with a 16 year old. Varying degrees of competence, experience and confidence in the group. What makes Mattéo such a good guide is his ability to cater to all levels simultaneously. He very quickly assessed the competence of one in our group who was an experienced caver / climber and another who was an experienced alpinist giving each a little more latitude whilst also explaining tactfully the subtle differences between their experience and the techniques used in canyoning. All the while he was also looking after the novices and least confident members. Lovely guy, great day in Les Acles. EXCELLENT English too. Thanks Mattéo - looking forward to some more 'extreme'...

Our family of 6 had a wonderful 1st experience canyoning with Mattheo as our guide! We had teenage boys who were up for the excitement of the slides and jumps, but we also had older and younger ones who enjoyed being able to go around the jumps when they were too high or too scary! Very nice experience at Les Acles canyon, closed to Nevache, at Plampinet. The place is just 25min from Bardonecchia. The guide is very expert and competent, 2h30m flew away incredibly fast. After leaving the car at the parking the adventure stars with a 20min hiking and then...pure amusement. Not recommended for pleaple that suffer from vertigo. Definetely recommended as first...
