One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. We went to La Margherita as a group of 7 and were treated with rudeness from the start. The staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. When it came time to pay, the cashier claimed they had no coins for change and instead of rounding down fairly, they tried to make us pay more than the actual amount. Rather than charging €18.40 instead of €18.42, they insisted on €18.50. In the end, six of us were charged €18.40 each, but the last person had to pay €18.60 (six cents more than the correct €18.54). Disgraceful! My boyfriend and I were waiting outside this restaurant to take away a pizza on Sunday 19/2/2024, when a drunk man was thrown out of the restaurant, and he threw a glass at us. I immediately went in to the restaurant to alert management and they did nothing. Excellent food and friendly service. We had three dishes here - ravioli filled with burrata and served with a Gorgonzola cream sauce and walnuts; a faux filet (sirloin) with fries; and a pizza with ham. All three were delicious! The waiter was very accommodating and brought us everything we asked for very quickly (bread, oil & vinegar, etc.) I ordered a Prosecco which was very good and came in a large glass!
